Hi there,
I installed MQ5.3 on a Windows 2003 server. When I log on with a local user I can access the qmgrs and see the queues. When I log on with my domain user however, I get the message "Access not authorized...AMQ4036".
My domain user is in the mqm group.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Don't install v5.3 - it's out of service. Install v6.0
As to your problem, it's clearly connected to domain authentication. If you're certain the user that you're using is in the mqm group local to the queue manager, you might want to consider switching on security events to double check that what the queue manager is seeing is what you think it's seeing.
