Hi All,
I have a written a stand alone assembler program which is triggered by IMS DC trxn, and write data into the MQ.
When a trigger a trxn, one of my online jcl executes the code. When a trigger another trxn, the existing online jcl (JOB ID) should end and process this trxn. The next trxn is giving a MQ CONNECTION Reason code 2195. Instead the message log is continuing for the next trxn. But the return statements in the assembler code is proper.
Can any one suggest or guess what could be the problem? _________________ When Going Gets Tough, the Tough Gets Going |

If it would be of great help, if some one can clarify this?
Rephrasing my query,
I have written a IMS DC - Assembler - MQ program. Program accepts the DC trxn and gets the msg, process in the assembler code and writes into MQ.
I have a online jcl to execute my Assembler program, my basic doubt is if we trigger 2 trxn, first trxn is processed with one job id for this online jcl, for the second trxn wil my job id will be the same or not.

I'm sure it would, but my z/OS is not in this area!
It's not that we're ignoring you (or at least I'm not) but:
a) I don't write z/OS assembler apps more than 10 instructions. That work.
b) I don't know IMS.
This makes it tricky for me to give a useful answer.
I'm sure someone with more experience will be along shortly. Or you can try a PMR. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Thanks buddy,
I have got the answer for it.
For online MQ's program, the module to be link-edit should have been CSQQSTUB. This was giving me the Unexpected error in MQCONN with 2195 Reason code.
Just thot of sharing this, as it might be useful to someone else in this crew
