Environment: MQSI V2.0.2 with broker running in SUN Solaris 2.8 and Oracle 8.1.6 as the broker DB.
I got the following errors in file "/var/adm/messages". However, this didn't affect the normal operation of the broker.

Do these lil files exist? On our systems they have been removed (renamed) as a workaround to mqsistop hanging in 2.0.2. Maybe in the readme? So we get these same errors every time a broker starts. As Amit says, so long as you are not using DB2 (specifically for XA), these errors are OK.
Regards,

Yeah, these are definately messages to do with DB2 and the fact that you'renot using it, we are also using Oracle and experience no problems due to this.
This is a known, very low priority problem at IBM. There was talk of it being resolve in CSD03 for v2.0.2 although that was back in 2001...
