I am getting 2059 when i executed the program AMQSCNXC from a windows client to access Websphere in Z/Os. It was working so far but all of a sudden it started abending with 2059. I checked with mq admin,he confirmed that 1414 is open and CAF is running. What could be the problem ? Any help ?

Did you check the rest of the network links?

Do a search through the forum for 2059. If it's not the most common error code from WMQ it's top 5. There have been many, many discussions about it and the various ways of tracing the cause. Which may be nothing to do with your code or the configuration.

Try a telnet session to the IP and port number to ensure that yuo are able to connect to it from the windows client.

use the following command:

telnet "IP address" " port number"

If yuo get a blank screen yuo will at least know you can connect from the PC.

Connection could not establish using Telnet. Might be firewal block.

Thanks a Lot.
