Hi,
I'm trying to run this command specifying a different workpath. I'm running on Windows XP trying to create a bkr database. I keep on getting "Invalid flags and/or arguments selected." I wonder is this flag actually supported on windows or will it only create the default workpath?
mqsicreatedb bkr02 -w C:\WMB_Workpaths\bkr02 -p 1528 -e db2
Have also tried using the -i and -a flags just in case( ) but still get the same error.
WMQ 6.0.2.0
WMB 6.0.0.5
DB2 8.1 FP15
Thanks |

What happens if you change db2 to DB2?
Also from the online manual:
-w WorkPath
(Optional) The location in which WebSphere Message Broker stores internal data, such as installation logs, component details, and trace output. Do not edit this data unless you are instructed to do so by your IBM Service representative. The shared-classes directory is also located in the work path directory and is used for deployed Java code.
-e DbType
(Optional) The database engine to be used to create and run the database. Currently supported values are DB2 and Derby. If you do not specify this option, and only one database engine is available, that engine is used. If both are available, the default engine is DB2.
So if you don't use the -e flag also you should be fine _________________ Shalabh

Hi,
Have already tried that I and get the same error.
Interestingly, issuing mqsicreatedb -? on the cmd line reveals that -w is not a command option. The Infocenter documentation however does say it is possible to specify a different workpath... |
