I wanna delete a broker...

The database for the broker is unavailable....
I am unable to delete the broker because it always gives a message that database is unavailable.

Can I delete the broker when the DB is unavailable?

Question 2

Can I rename an exisiting broker?

No to both.

You can create a new, dummy DB with the same ODBC DSN, and that should allow you to delete the broker.

To clarify, the broker rename operation in the toolkit just renames the Configuration Manager's definition of that broker. It's only useful if you mistyped the broker name when first defining that broker in the CM.
