Hello, experts!
I'm using WMBv6 on AIX and getting Accounting&Stats information through usertrace.
Now I'd like to know how many massage flow threads were running within one snap shot when I configure additional instances of message flows.
Are there any 'key information' in the usertrace which allow us to determine how many threads were being created during the process?
Many thanks in advance,
Regards, |

I'm not sure how you could get it in a user trace. But you can definitely find that out from the IPProcs of the input queue when the flow is running.. |

Don't know if it helps, but I've used statistics with output option xml (-o xml) some days ago. In the data I received subscribing to the appropriate topic there was an attribute NumberOfThreadsInPool of tag MessageFlow which, I believe, gives the number of threads of this particular flow.
Never used statistics through usertrace.

My conclusion so far is that there is no way to determine how multiple threads of a message flow are handled because it is just "Statistics".
Each snap shot is summarized and we can only see its result, which tells us various costs of message flow processing respectively such as CPU cost, calculation cost, TotalInputMsgs, and etc.
Of course, I believe there's no difference of outputs between usetrace and xml(available in pub/sub).

Yes, in my understanding, it tells the maximum number of additional threads (instances) available in the thread pool but my problem is that I can't see how multiple threads of a message flow were assigned during the process via "Accounting&Stats" outputs. |
