Hi all,
I know this has been repeating quite a number of times, however, i am still trying to get the answer for this.
I went through some of the earlier posts in this regard, but couldn't find what i am searching for. anyway, below is my question:
I want to see the version of the deployed flow and message set to display the actual version from the CVS that it was checked out earlier from.
i am not sure about how to populate the Version field in the message flow property to get this. i read the keyword to use for this as $id$ or $Version in some posts.
Is anybody clear about how to set the value for this field. _________________ BR,

You need to ensure that the file types are treated as ascii from within Message Broker. By default all broker file types (msgflow, esql etc) are treated as binary. Thus using $Id$ etc will not get expanded by CVS. _________________ Regards

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, BTW what do you mean by ASCII form within the broker? Could you please elaborate on how actually I am supposed to change the format from binary to ascii to get $id$ working with CVS. Thanks in advance. _________________ BR,

Ask your CVS administrator to change this property on the files in question.
Or failing that, try asking google (hint: cvs ascii binary) |

Window->Preferences->Team->File Content and then change/add the file types you are interested in. _________________ Regards
