I have requirement where Calling of Http starts with timer.If the https response doesnt come in 2 min. that request should insert custom message in DB otherwise response from HTTP call.

Please advice combination of Controlled time and Aggregation node will be a viable solution for this requirement.Also what will happen if the response comes before 2 min., will timer continue or is there a way to terminate it? what if http fail?

I am planning below msgflows

mqinput->aggregationcontrol->compute1->mqoutput1(http call)->aggregaterequest1
mqinput->aggregationcontrol->compute2->mqoutput2(timer call)->aggregaterequest2

http call flow
mqinput1->compute->httprequest->compute->mqreply

timer call flow
mqinput2->timercontrol->timeoutnotification->compute->mqreply

fan-in flow
mqinput->aggregatereply->compute->mqoutput
