Is there any workaround etc that allows you to override UDP's within a Unix environment? |

Why do you think mqsiapplybaroverride doesn't work on Unix?
To be more specific... I believe that mqsiapplybaroverride is a Toolkit command, and thus is only installed on machines that have the Toolkit on them. Right now, you can only install the Toolkit on Windows and Linux. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Having mqsiapplybaroverride on runtime platforms is a very, very well known requirement to IBM.
Before the requirement gets resolved: because BAR files are just zips and deployment descriptors just XML, then as you imply, standard OS tools will do the trick fine.

There's a similar requirement here.
On the understanding that only official IBM announcements are official, a fixed delivery date is a contradiction in terms and development priorities are subject to change at a moment's notice what would be your best guess of a resolution date? Next FP? Next release?
I'm just trying to avoid developing something and manhandling it through the test & release process if I can avoid it by hanging on for a few weeks / months & taking maintenance. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
