Hi
I have two queue managers clustered by the guy who was previously working on it.
How do I check whether the clustering is working correctly?
thanks in advance |

Check the cluster channels are running.
Put some test messages. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi Vitor
i did that
I reduced the max queue depth of one of the queues to 5 and put 6 messages.
But I find that the messages do not reach the other queue on cluster Queue manager2
Why is this happening?
thanks in advance |

Because something is not set up right, or you did not send the messages correctly. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

How do you know you sent the messages correctly?
How do you know that you set things up correctly?
How do you know that the messages aren't going to where they should be going to? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

You seem to have eliminated one possibility. Now you can work through the set up.
I'd especially check the dead letter queues to see if the messages if they've gone missing. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
