Hi folks , I have MQ v6 running on Windows 2003 server . We have a trigger queue which has about 8000 messages setting on it . We know the application is not pulling the messages because the first 5 are bad messages . I am trying to delete only the first 5 and not having any luck. How do I delete them of the queue ? using the MQ explore I can only browse or clear off the entire queue . I don't need to delete every thing just the first 5 ,, Please advice .

use the M071 support pack to visually check and delete the message

Any program which reads messages (destructively) can be used.

RFHUTIL/C is another option (support pac IH03).
