IBM is pleased to announce a Technology Preview for MQSeries Integrator Version 2.0.2 for Linux.
This Technology Preview release further builds on MQSeries Integrator to provide a series of product enhancements as well as extended support to include the Linux platform. These enhancements further expand the customer opportunity for this powerful Application Integration solution. MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 for Linux is a program refresh of the IBM Application Integration offering, central to the MQSeries portfolio. It helps you to:
Create, deploy, and control message-based business solutions
Integrate existing applications with new e-business requirements
Connect applications between enterprises and their suppliers
With MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 , IBM:
Extends support to the Linux platform using the RedHat Distribution
Provides a new integrated, interactive message flow debugger
Provides support for MQSeries Everyplace and SCADA protocols
The product, already available on Windows NT®, AIX, Sun Solaris and HP-UX platforms, is complemented by the addition of this Linux Technology Preview.
Please note the following requirements which mean that you need a licensed copy of MQSeries 5.2 for Linux, a licensed copy of DB2 7.1 for Linux and a licensed copy of MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 for AIX, Solaris, NT/2000 or HP/UX before you will be able to use this Linux Broker.

MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 for Linux is supported on Red Hat Linux 6.2
Disk Space
The total space required too install MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 for Linux is approximately 270Mb. The download is approximately 55Mb.
Prerequisite Applications
The following list of applications are not required to install the MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 for Linux, however certain parts may not work if you do not have them.
IBM MQSeries Integrator V2 for Linux is designed to operate with IBM MQSeries. The minimum level supported is MQSeries Version 5.2 for Linux. (this product is not supplied as part of this Technology Preview)
IBM MQSeries Integrator V2.0.2 (or higher) for IBM AIX, Microsoft Windows NT/2000, Sun Solaris or HP-UX. The MQSeries Integrator Control Centre and Configuration Manager from one of these products is required to deploy and manage the Linux Broker. (this product is not supplied as part of this Technology Preview)
IBM DB2 Universal Database V7.1 This product is not supplied as part of this Technology Preview but you may download a version from the IBM DB2 website.
Adobe Acrobat Reader®
The Documentation is provided in Portable Document Format (pdf), which requires a minimum level of Version 4.0 of Adobe Acrobat Reader to be viewed. This, and other versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader are freely available from the Adobe web site.
