I tried to find a documentation fort the message size constraint of a mq queue ( local) in WMQ v6. My requirement is to transfer a file of more than 100 MB, which was limitation of MQ as fasr as I know. I do not have a problem of transferring (The file is chunked before pm4data transfer it) but I still need to be sure that the mq 6v can store bigger than 100 MB file.

I would be thankful if someone can indicate me the documentation or a post in this forum.

v6 messages can only be 100Mb in size.

Queues can be very very big.

Jeff,

Sorry for the topic- MQ queue constraint. I actual mean the constrain of message size. This means that the message size limitation in v6 is the same in v5.

This is exactly what Jeff tried to tell you. Maximum Message Length was and is 100MB. You might want to look into segmentation.
