Hi,

SaveQmgr is not working for only one queue manager on AIX server.
when I run the saveqmgr i don't see any error, I am getting response as below ...

You are starting TEST_QMGR qmgr backup process on Thu Sep 6 18:30:15 2007
SAVEQMGR V6.0.3
Compiled for Websphere MQ V6.0 on Aug 29 2006
Requesting attributes of the queue manager...

Please let me know if anyone had same issue with SaveQmgr.

Is the command server on that queue manager running?

Does saveqmgr just sit there forever? or does it halt at some point?

Can you show the command you are using to start saveqmgr?

SaveQmgr sits there forever. It says Requesting attributes of the queue manager...

this problem is only with one Queue Manager.

I run the commad as below:

saveqmgr -m QMGR -f BACKUPFILE -s

I just realized that commad server is not running.
