I want the run the JavaCompute node sample but both URLs for downloads - of googleapi.jar and nntp-1.0.zip - appear to not exist! I have got googleapi from another URL but cannot find an nntp-1.0.
Have these URLs been superceded - if so does what have they been replaced with? I am on the 6.0.2 Toolkit and at the latest Help level so am a bit puzzled. |

The GoogleAPI sample apparently doesn't work any more, because Google changed the API.

Yep, Google no longer support their Java API; it's a shame because that MB sample was quite a nice one. Though you can still look at the code to see what it should have done(!)
Regarding the NNTP sample, the JAR download from vroyer.org seems to work intermittently (it stopped working a couple of months ago then it started working again, now it's broken again).
I wish they'd make their mind up, I need to decide whether to remove the sample from any future version of MB that may exist.  |
