Make sure that you belong to Administrator group while you are doing installation.

Did you tried creating configmgr using command promt ?

Virendra,

Pl check whether your configuration manager service is running or not. Make sure your listner on config queue mgr is also running. What is the exact BIP error message you are getting?

What version of MQSeries and MQSI are you using? Do you have latest CSD applied?

I would also recommend that anyone using WMQI gets the latest MA88 for the platform. Rumour has it that some MQ versions (5.1, 5.21) shipped with Java classes and some didn't (5.2?). Apply MA88.

Hi..

Check for ur Odbc Data Source..Check for ur DSN Config..,the database name in DSN Config is same as the one what u have been mentioned in databasename column of ur config Manager..Becoz,if u mention some other database name in config mgr and if u try to establish a connection with it, connection will get establish thru DSN to DB2, but it will not connect to database in DB2..Then it will show the error as "current operation has timed out" and there is no connection establish between ur control center and config mgr...Check it out
