As many of you know we have maintained mqseries.net as a service to the MQ user community for the past 6+ years. We have had over 14000 registered users since our start and although some of these users may have moved on to other jobs and functions, the larger majority of site users remain involved with and are active members. Some of you know that my role and job functions have changed in recent past; as a result I have not had as much time to offer the needed cycles to implement a few key changes that have been suggested.

I am pleased to announce that Cressida Technology have agreed to step in and look after things for us. While I will remain an active site member, the ownership, day to day operation and management of the site will be looked after by Cressida teams. The list of current moderators will largely remain as before and along with a few other long time and active forum users they will form the advice and general requirements committee to direct the site forward. For those of you who may not be very familiar with Cressida, they are an MQ message assurance software firm that since early 2004 have been the premier sponsor of our site and forums. My primary decision factors in selecting Cressida were their existing relationship with the site, extended availability of additional technical staff, willingness to invest their resources to improve the site for our membership community.
