Hello!
After a superficial study of MA0W trace utility supportpac, which revealed from its implementation that it uses iselmqapiexit.def configuration file, and comparing it to a possibility to access several user data attributes of channels from within channel exits, I wonder now is there something similar for qmgr (I see only CLWLDATA)? Because I'd sooner read memory than disc, for better performances, and be able to shutdown the api exit functionality dynamically, at the same time. Did anyone already modify mirrorq so that it can be disabled by an alter qmgr command (and is willing to share it)? That is, if it is possible to do it at all. Thanks. |

Mirrorq is sample code.
You shouldn't be using sample code in a production environment, without having full understanding of the code itself.
Also, you should really be solving whatever problem you're solving by using mirrorq at a different place than inside your queue manager. Either by using application level distribution lists, or application level message logging or application level ANYTHING, rather than whatever you're doing at the infrastructure level. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
