Hi there all,
I have just upgraded from v5.3 to v6.0.2.1 on AIX

The upgrade went smoothly and the Qmgr is running again fine, all channels etc working.

However.... programs (written in Progress) that were running before reading from and writing to the Queues are no longer working. I am getting errors in the logs as follows:

Could not open Dynamic Library: /usr/mqm/lib/libmqm.o. (8013)

DLL Error : 0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for /usr/mqm/lib/libmqm.o because: (8014)

Could not load DLL procedure /usr/mqm/lib/libmqm.o. (3258)

Any ideas what could be causing this? and more importantly how to resolve it?

Hi,

Please re-read the WMQ Quick Beginning v6 for AIX manual as there is a section about PATH settings that are different between v5.3 and v6 (i.e. 32-bit and 64-bit libraries).
