MQ installs OK but when I run the Wizaed I get an error “An Unexpected error has occurred while validating the security credentials of user ‘DOMAIN\Username It doesn’t matter if I log on locally, log into the domain or as a domain admin, local admin or MUSR_MQADMIN. The Domain and username of course changes based on who I log in as.

I have tried to run the wizaed as the local admin, a domain admin, I have tried to reset the MUSR_MQADMIN password on the machine and in DCOMCNFG.EXE.

The message also says “MQSeries is not correctly configured for Windows 2000 domain users" but I am installing in a NT domain. There are 2000 servers in the domain but not a 2000 domain controller.

Please - any help is appreciated.

You might try creating a new user and placing that user in the local mqm group of the NT Server.

And than try to create the queue manager from the command line using the crtmqm. You can get the options from the System Admin manual.
