Hi experts,

I'd like to know about spec. of code conversion of WASv6.1 when we use WMQ as a JMS-provider.

Who is responsible for code conversions? JVM?? WMQ??

For example, assume that there's a web service requester in WAS and it invokes an external service via SOAP/JMS/WMQ, and this requester makes a MQ client connection to an external QMgr. Also there's no configuration of 'channel-convert'.
This SOAP message is probably in UTF-8 and if the QMgr has different CCSID from unicode such as EBCDIC and EUC, how is the code page of the message handled?

Many thanks in advance,

If you read the using SOAP manual for MQ, it specifies that the request must be UTF-8 in content and the format must be set on the RFH2 to MQFMT_NONE, and that is the way it is set through the axis Proxy.

Now anything else not conforming to that standard, you do as you please...
