I can't quite explain this but ur cluster repository seems to think there is a queue manager within our cluster, but the queue manager doesn't actually exist. Anyone know how to remove a queue manager from a cluster?
TIA |

It can't have just appeared in the cluster.
Someone had to add it to the cluster in the first place.
If the queue manager no longer exists, that means that someone had to delete that queue manager.
The person who deleted it either did not know that it was part of a cluster, or did not follow instructions on how to remove a queue manager from a cluster.

That person either should have known enough to ask, known enough to go read documentation first, or NOT BE IN A POSITION TO DELETE A QUEUE MANAGER.
So you have more problems than just a 'phantom' queue manager. You have people who are not acting professionally.
The actual question you have asked is answered in the Troubleshooting section of the Queue Manager Clusters manual - which is where you should have looked before posting this question. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Looks like a queue manager was added from another machine by mistake when someone ran a script against a queue manager. The person did this by mistak, inexperienced, yes, unprofessional is a bit harsh.... |
