Hi,

I have a test.cat file which i had created using the gencat command on test.properties file. The contents of test.properties is :
5555: BIP5555I: \
This is the explanation of the Message ID 5555 given in the properties file.
6666: BIP6666I: \
This is the explanation of the Message ID 6666 given in the properties file.

I placed the 'test.cat' file to '/opt/IBM/mqsi/6.0/messages/En_US/' and the 'test.properties' file to '/opt/IBM/mqsi/6.0/messages/'. When I give the following command:
THROW USER EXCEPTION CATALOG 'test' MESSAGE 5555 VALUES('This error is thrown from message flow') , the explanation of Message no.5555 does not appear when the tail -f /var/adm/messages command is given.

Please tell me if i have done the right steps, Or whether i should do something else.
