Hi has anyone encountered this error whereby a shared memory occurs after abt an hour of running websphere mq ver 6.0.0.0 running on w2k adv server wif sp4?
Thks for any info
No, but general advice is not to run plain vanilla MQv6.
Apply the maintenance.
Thks for the advice i'm running ms cluster to perform clustering on MQ but when i try to patch ver 6.0.2.1 on the passive node i always get the message a file is in use and i cannot patch it i've tried using the switch whereby a reboot is required to perform the upgrade but the result is still the same.
Is there any procedure on how MQ should be patched in a MS cluster environment?
Pardon me for asking such question i'm a newbie to this MQ environment
Thks for any info

No more than the general rules for updating an HA environment.
The "file in use" is a not uncommon problem. Search the forum for hints, tips and suggestions. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
