I have a config mgr named CONFMGR1 which uses the queue manager named CONFMGR1 on a windows workstation say WKN1. I want it to be rendered from toolkit in another workstation say WKN2.
CONFMGR1 QManager is enabled for remote administration and user id of both the workstations have been created in these workstations and added under mqm and mqbrkrs group.
When i try to render CONFMGR1 on WKN1 from WKN2, I get the following BIP Error
BIP0914E Message Brokers Toolkit is unable to communicate with the Configuration Manager |

What does the Details show, when you get the error message?
Are you sure you're giving the correct MQ connection information, in the Toolkit, when you create the Domain connection? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Error Details:
BIP0914E Message Brokers Toolkit is unable to communicate with the Configuration Manager
Reason:
Network connection may be dropped and/or Websphere MQ Queue manager CONFMGR1 is not running and / or listener on port 10001 is not started.
But to the contrary CONFMGR1 is running and also its listener.
All the parameters have been specified correctly
CONFMGR1 is in ip 10.146.0.22(10001). I have specified the same in domain configuration |

can you use something else, like amqscnxc, to connect to the qmgr from another machine? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I'm able to render the same from MQ 6.0 Explorer but it fails only from MB 6.0 Toolkit |

The system.broker.svrconn channel is present and you have created the corresponding ACL entry for the user you are using? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

It's very hard to have a ConfigMgr that successfully connects to a queue manager, and does not have this channel. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
