I'm trying to browse a list of queues with MQ explorer using an intermediate qmgr. All channels are ok and I see the command answer messages flowing back to the intermediate qmgr, but there they are put on the dlq because of an unknown objectname. The object name is a AMQ.MQEXPLORER.... I see this queue created, but it seems to dissapear to early. What can be the reason of this unknown objectname? |

Problem solved, it seems to be a security problem on the target qmgr. |

The connection is solved, but when I try to browse a queue on the target qmgr, I don't see a browse item in the popup menu when I right click on the queue. |

BROWSE is always executed via MQGet.
MQGet can never be performed against a queue that is not a qlocal on the qmgr you are connected to.
You are connected via an intermediate qmgr. Ergo, the one you're trying to browse is not the one you're connected to. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
