Hi,
I have installed the WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker on a server machine. I have installed WebSphere Message Broker toolkit on my desktop machine.
Server and Desktop machines connected with each other through LAN. Now, I want to connect from Message Broker Toolkit, installed on desktop machine, to Configuration Manager and Broker installed on server.
Can any one guide me?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards |

I could perhaps guide you to the fact that you have posted in the wrong forum...or is this a test question for any potential job applicants? However, the answer to your questions is: read the documentation; it's all in there!
Any passing Mod, please move this as appropriate; thank you. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I agree with exerk but as I have a little time today i'll give you some clues....
In your toolkit.....
Go to the Broker Administration Perspective.
Then right click in the Domains pane and select new -> Domain. Enter the details it asks for so it can connect to the config manager.
Then when thats working you can add your broker to it.
I am assuming that the config manager and broker have been created already though (which my be very silly of me I know but this does answer the posters question!)
Have a crack at these things and let us know how you get on. |

You also need channels and xmit queues between the config manager and the broker and these should have max message size of 100 MB. |
