Am facing issue while trying to connect to remote queue manager using rfhutilc. rfhtuilc is not starting up and throwing the exception "The ordinal 772 could not be located in the dynamic link library imqc23vn.dll"

Both MQ Server and Client (v 5.3 with CSD12) are on Windows XP. Only client is installed on my machine.

Would really appreciate if anyone can help me resolve this particular issue.

Thge imqc23vn.dll is a part of the MQ Client for Windows. It is not included in the RFHUTIL (IH03) SupportPac. Please check whether that file exists in the directory where you installed MQ client if not, I would suggest to install the client once again.

Please install the MQ v6 client instead of the v5.3 client.

Please make sure that the PATH is set up correctly, in the environment that is running RFHUTILC, to include the MQ libraries.

Thanks Jeff. One can install v6 client with 5.3 server.

Oh, yeah, lookit that. v5.3 CSD12.

Oh well.

But, yes, one can use the v6 client with v5.3 server. Although one should update to v6 server, ASAP, as v5.3 goes out of support soon.
