Been trying to get a verification of this. Does V6 for z/os allow clients connections to remote Queue Managers? V5 did not and thought I had heard that V6 would allow this. Just looking to verify. Could not find a statement to that fact anywhere. |

zSeries, at any MQ version, does not allow for creation of outbound client connections... except from WAS on Z.
CAF allows for incoming client connections, and is the only way to get incoming client connections. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Or, in other words, MQ for z/OS can only be a server, not a client. |
