We are upgrading from v5.3 and after the upgrade and fix pack
websphere MQ Explorer does not display the queues or advanced folder. I can see the Queue managers but that is all. Ia m logged in as a user in the administrator and mqm groups.

Try
strmqcfg -i
strmqcfg -c

Try changing the MQ Explorer preference to start it up in an Eclipse workbench, and then go "Window->Reset Perspective".

I have got the solution to this in my environment

I was missing a PATH entry to "\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\java\lib" and ensure "mqjbnd05 loaded:" comes up as YES in WebSphere MQ - Properties \ Configuration information \
