I want to monitore MQSeries Queues from HP-UX 11 and 11i under Windows NT 4.0. I have installed the Windows NT Client (mackFrFR.zip) and the monitor tools (mo71.zip).
When I try to monitore the Queues I have the messages : MQM.dll not found or Error connecting via client to 'QHMCMCC' RC(2059) QMgr not available.
In the Mo71 documentation , there is nothing to help me.
Can you say me if there is a documentation who explain how to install (if my install is not good) how to run this monitoring (configuration of the Queues Location etc...).
So I saw this monitiring run by other colleagues.
You client doesn't seem to be connected to a queue manager. Verify that your client has a definition that gives the hostname and port number of the HP-UX box. You can find documentation on how to set up a client connection.
I doubt that mqm.dll is not installed.. Check by searching the drive for it. Ensure you have installed the
MQ Client code so that the client application can use it.
It sounds like you are not using the client connection properly. (I think mqm.dll is only part of the MQ Server, not the client code.)
Make sure you have a server connection channel defined on the HP-UX queue manager, and specify that when configuring the client in the mo71 tool. Also, make sure the listener is running for the queue manager.
