Hi,

I've got a problem : I have to write an application in JAVA which could be able to retrieve XML message from a Queue to update a DataBase.

This application must be as fast as possible (using triggering ?) and is running on a MQ client.

(I can't launch, each time there's a message in the queue, a JAVA process...)

What is the best architecture that I have to use ?
Do I need a trigger monitor ?
Do I need MQ pub/sub ?
May I use MQ JMS or MQ base?
What will be the advantage in using LDAP server (only for security or useful/essential to store JAVA object) ?
Can I launch automatically a JAVA application from a MQclient ?

A weblogic server and a LDAP server is available on the machine where my application must run...

I'm a real newbie and I'm sorry for my english... but I'm really desesperate... could you give some help ?

You could write an MDB which runs in Webshpere and listens on the queue.
