Websphere Message Broker and WebSphere Event Broker V6 Fix Pack 4, 6.0.0.4, has been temporarily withdrawn following the discovery of APAR IC53096, REMOVE DEPLOYED CHILDREN CAUSES ABEND IF USING A JAVA COMPUTE NODE.

The Execution group abends when a user issues a remove deployed children to the execution group when either a JMS, Java compute node or Java UDN node is deployed to that execution group. The abend can occur when either re-deploying or deleting a flow that contains a JMS or Java Compute node or Java User Defined Node. The problem only occurs if the broker has been restarted since the flow had been deployed.

For customers who have already installed Fix Pack 4 an interim fix for this problem is already available from your service representative.

Fix Pack 4 will be re-instated once the fix has been incorporated.
