How do we refresh a cluster and what happens when we try to refresh a cluster.

You use a REFRESH CLUSTER command and the cluster is refreshed.

For more details, consult the Clustering manual (where inter-cluster communication is discussed in detail) and the Command manual (where the REFRESH CLUSTER is discussed).

I'd advise against issuing the command unless you need to. Also be mindful where you issue it from.

My personal view, other views of the use of this command may be equally valid.
