There's been some debate in here about how much stuff you need to establish a JMS connection. As a Java nonce, it seems to me the prevailing opinion is that if you put the 2 jar files for MQJMS in the CLASSPATH you can establish a client connection, but IBM only support the configuration if you've got a full client install (which includes these jars) on the client side.
Given the license cost (none!) of the client and it's small footprint I personally can't see the point of skimping and just installing the jars. Install the client and have done. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
