Hi,
Iam new to MQ Series and here is the requirement for me:
The infrastructure should support live transactions of web portal of the Bank. Security is an important criterion for this kind of system. All transactions are time dependent and must have quick processing time. The system is served by a java application which works on the message and sends back reply to the web application. There are very few transactions on the web portal which actually needs a confirmation of activity completion.
How to built an infrastructure listing which are the different components can be used to create such an infrastructure. Also pls specify the settings an application must do at there side to communicate with the system keeping in mind above requirements.
Thanks |

Not as theoretical as I thought then:

My comments in the previous thread apply, especially the part about getting paid to design this sort of thing!
But over and above the training and reading I've already talked about, you clearly need to research MQ security and it's implementation of SSL. You'll also need to weigh up the time depandancy requirement with volitivity of the transaction data. Following from that, you'll need to build timeout handling (web transactions disconnect for a number of reasons - orphaned repilies are a serious possibility).
You don't mention if you're using MQ or if you have one of the Broker products as well. This would affect your design, as Broker has a number of inbuilt features that would assist. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Working in a bank environment is not something I think a person with no experience could jump into, considering the complexity of the design(s) and the demands of security. Please advise who wants you to build there infrastructure with no experience.....I want to keep my money far far away from that place!!!! |
