Hi,
There is a requirement of batch processing and the batch processes each message in the infrastructure but the frequency of messages coming to this infrastructure is once every 2 hours. The messages are related to all transactions (If transacted) of an account holder in last two hours time. All transaction forms a single message and may run into MBs in size. The batch process updates a backend database from the details of the message. The database is to have backup of transaction data. This transaction is not time dependent but organization needs a confirmation that transactions are backed up properly.
Thanks,
Kazim |

If you've correctly configured your infrastructure and database for your transactional requirements, and put in place a robust back up strategy, then yes. If not, no.

Thanks for your reply.Actually I am new to mq series. The requirement which I am posted is like exam/test given for me for which I have to write step by step process. Please reply with configuration steps or ideas.
Thanks, |

I don't provide exam answers for moral reasons.
Also because I'm typically paid to produce such things, which I market under the name "designs".
What I will advise you to do is go back to whoever gave you the requirement and point out answering it before you've been given training is like asking you to build a car from a pile of parts. Difficult, unfair and likely to end in disaster.
While they're mulling that over, go through the Intercommunication manual, the System Administration manual and the equivalent database manuals. Once you've gone through those you should be able to explain to those concerned why the requirement is a bit silly and not the best use of the architecture, as well as broadly how it would work.
Happy Reading!
P.S. You'll also realise you've posted this in the wrong section!

It's also worth pointing out that there is no "step by step" process. The requirement you've laid out has a number of potential solutions, especially given the vague (and I suspect theoretical) nature of what's being asked for. What you therefore need is either:
a) The answer whoever gave you the question is looking for because it matches their marking scheme
b) A workable solution, which you'll obtain from your initial reading
c) A better solution, which you'll develop after some reading, training and experience.
Assuming b, you need to research how MQ and the database in use handles transactionality, cross connectivity between the two, how data is actually stored and processed, error handling and scheduling.
Again with the happy reading! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
