hi all,
some migration job is going on in our environment for which we are gathering information
the problem is ,as we see kernal parameters in solaris env. using sysdef -i,
what command is used in aix to gather info about kernal parameters

You don't need to set them for MQ on AIX. (and I don't think the equivalents exist anyway).
BUT there are some environment variables you need to set for memory management. Read quick beginnings for AIX - which I assume you have done already  |

thanks bdolding,
i have gone through qb for aix ,the only thing i came to know is to set EXTSHM to ON which i think is the equivalent for setting kernal parameters for aix systems
after all we check kernal parameters to set semaphores ,file descriptors and shared memory.................. right
which on aix is done by setting this value to ON and aix takes care for the rest
i mean it takes defualt values to processess |
