I have created a sender channel in mq connecting to a remote mq server(it is a exact copy of the existing sender channel in production environment). We are not sending anything right now, I can start it and it is in running mode, but after a while(hours maybe), it will become inactive state. Is that sender channel supposed to in running mode all the time? or it is becase we don't have any traffic, so it becomes inactive, and when trafffic resumes, it will become running mode again?
Thank you very much. |

If the XMITQ is triggered it will...otherwise...nope.
But before you knee jerk at setting the disconnect interval to 0 understand the implications of doing so. Seriously consider triggering the channels if the demands of the business allow it. |
