sure, thats easy.
please uninstall your system. please uninstall the remote system. read all the mq manuals. then install everything from scratch. setup everything correct. then everything will work.
are you a computing technician? i assume not. do you really expect help when you offer this little information?
tell us about your environment, about the software you are using, what action do you perform, what error messages do you get and so on.
unless you do so - happy computing. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

As a bare minimum connect what? MQExplorer, application, washing machine? Unable to do so due to error messages, security restriction, water leak? Also what have you already tried to resolve this? There's no point us suggesting stuff you've already tried. Assuming you have tried something?
There's a sticky in General Discussion - "Asking Questions The Smart Way". It contains soverign advice not only on how to form questions but how to trace, identify and quanitify problems.
The only possible answer (aside from the other one you've been legitimately given) to such a vauge question is "because something's wrong". Accurate, but no practical use. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

My shot at an answer to this question. There are a numerous possibilities based on what you are trying to do but here's a few things for you to check.
If you are client connecting then
1)Check if you have the right MQSERVER variable set
MQSERVER=ChannelName/TransportType/ConnectionName
2)Check if you are connection to the right ChanelTab file. (AMQCLCHL.TAB)
3) Check you have the right hostname, Queue manager name and port number.
If you are a server connecting
1) Do you have both the queue managers in cluster
2)If you are using remote queueing do you have right contact admin queue, remote queue definitions and sender receiver channes defined?
Others have already said it but if you could give us some more info about the problem, we can pick the right one for you
Cheers, |
