I came across a lot of abbeeviation while reading MQ series.net. Today itseelf, I encountered one : IIRC. Sometime I could guess for example - IMHO but IIRC was not an easy.

I started from RPC, RMI etc ect but could not come up with a satisfactory one. I regret had I taken Edward De bono's trainign SIX THINKING HAT which enpowered me to think from six different angels but it was late already.

Eveyone can guess what I may have done next- I googled. I found one wisdom page, which has full form of all human protocals. Hope, new entrant in this forum as well as pundit will benefits one way or the other.

Here it goes:

These are some of the samples:

It's a moderately useful link for a new poster. But the abbreviations shown there (and used here) are fairly common ones in the forum / listserve world.

At least you used Google, which is sound advice for the newbie!

If we're talking help for newbies, I'd like to draw attention to the sticky "How To Ask Questions The Smart Way", which contains solid advice not only on netiquette but problem definition. Defining your problem allows you not only to focus on possible solutions, but also to frame appropriate questions to get the best and fastest answer from the online community.

Which after all is the point of all this.
