Guys,
Iam in the process of migration of MQ 5.3 to MQ 6.0 in certain servers.
Normally we will be taking queuemanager object backup using 'saveqmgr' support pac.
If I would like to take object authorization backup, what I should do?
Can anyone help me in this regard? |

Jeff,
Thankyou very much for your response.
This is the first time Iam going to take authorization backup and wondering what exactly 'amqoamd -s' will do.
If this command takes qmgr authorization backup, where do i supply this command(/var/mqm/qmgrs) and how do i save this as a file.
How do I backup and restore?
Please bear with me as Iam new to migration. |

A few moments of experiementation (or reviewing the entry on amqoamd in the System Administration manual) will reveal that it generates setmqaut commands which can be applied using normal methods. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
