Hi,
We are facing sometimes mqrc 2071 (STORAGE NOT AVAILABLE), message broker is unable to get/put message from/to queue. Could you please tell me is this memory problem or file system problem?
Thanks _________________ Regards |

From the Messages manual:
Quote: |
2071 (X'0817')MQRC_STORAGE_NOT_AVAILABLE
Explanation:
The call failed because there is insufficient main storage available.
Completion Code:
MQCC_FAILED
Programmer Response:
Ensure that active applications are behaving correctly, for example, that they are not looping unexpectedly. If no problems are found, make more main storage available.

Hi Vitor,
Thanks a lot. I saw that. I got sometimes this error specially for large message (25MB & more). No unexpected loop is there in the code.
Thanks _________________ Regards |

Then you need more memory.
(Struck by a sudden thought here - is it just ancient mainframe types like me and the IBM guy who writes manuals that refer to memory as "main storage"? You do know that refers to memory not disc right? Because if you didn't, your original question suddenly makes a whole lot more sense..... ) _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
