Hi All,

At my knowledge the broker component can listen on one port at a time for all incoming https/http requests, if some https/http requests should be recieved on diff port by the broker then we have to create a new broker component and then assign the new port.

But is there any way that one Broker component can listen on multiple ports for incoming https requests, if so pls let me know how to configure that.

thank you.
Gari..

You are almost correct in your understanding. Each broker has one port for SSL (https) and a different port for HTTP. One broker cannot have more ports than this... The actual ports used can be changed with mqsichangeproperties.

The broker is designed that it only needs 1 port (or 2 if you include SSL).
Each request that arrives on that socket is automaticly transfered to a queue so the port is never busy.
Like this, there is no need for multiple ports.

Could you explain why you wish to use multiple ports?

Well, there is support pack IE01, that will let you run multiple webservers that feed message flows.
