Hy guys, I need some help.
I want to monitor the WMQ processes, but I can't find any information which processes are really necessary to run a queuemanager.
The OS I'm interessted in are AIX and SunSolaris. Are there any differences between MQ 5.3 and 6.0?
Where can I find more information about these processes like amqhasmx, amqzllp0, amqzlaa0 and so on? |

System Administration guide for the platform/version in question.
You may be reinventing a wheel here; there are a lot of perfectly good monitoring packages out there.
Personal rule of thumb - if there are no FDCs being generated, the queue manager's fine. I worry more about messages building up on queues because the application's gone belly up. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
