Define "supported". If you mean "officially, by IBM", then probably it will tell you in the support documentation for the Adapter which version of Brokers are supported with this adapter.

And you mean WMB v6, not WBIMB v6. WBIMB is only v5 of Broker. WMB is v6.

Flat File 6.0.2 Package includes the below packages

1. IBM WebSphere Adapter for Flat Files v6.0.2
2. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter Framework v2.6.0
3. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for JText v5.6.0

I have read the software pre-requisite for "IBM WebSphere Adapter for Flat Files v6.0.2", it doesn't mention specifically about WMB 6.

For File integration with WMB 6, not sure if we have use Flat Files v6.0.2 or JText v5.6.0

After successfully installing the WebSphere® Adapter, you configure it using WebSphere Integration Developer. You then deploy it as an enterprise archive (EAR) file to WebSphere Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus.

WMB v6.0.x does not provide a runtime environment for the v6.x versions of the WebSphere Adapters, as they are JCA components and not standalone java processes.

This doesn't mean you can't USE these adapters with Broker - by configuring a route to push the data read by the adapters onto a queue or an HTTP Request that is serviced by Broker.

You can use the JText adapter, if you have already purchased it. Or you can look at purchasing the File Extender for Message Broker - which will be a more "native" interface between MB and files.
