All,
after migrating from MQ 5.3 on Windows 2003 to MQ 6 also using the latest service pack , I am able to see the queue manager is running fine from the command line , however , when I bring up the MQ Explorer , I don't see the queue manager there . What can possibly cause that ?

You need to manually add it back in.
There's been some discussion on this before. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff,
I did added it manually but it being treated as a remote queue manager while it is actually a local queue manager . Is that normal ? When I tried to add it , I was prompted for the hostname and port . _________________ "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used
