This is a permanent full time position, located in Roseland, NJ. We will sponsor and we will relocate. I am the internal corporate recruiter (this is not a third party). The company is a multi billion dollar company and one of the largest providers of a broad range transaction processing and information-based business solutions.
We are looking for a WebSphere MQ system engineer, administrator and technical consultant. Responsible for configuration, troubleshooting and monitoring of the ADP messaging network (primarily on the mainframe). Assists in the definition, documentation, and implementation of MQ technology standards. Will interface with development, test and deployment organizations across the company to assist with MQ-related issues.
• Minimum of 10 Years experience in IT
• At least 5 years of WebSphere MQ engineering/administration experience (certifications desirable)
• Must be able to perform system engineering/administration tasks on mainframe
• Ability to work on distributed operating systems (UNIX, Windows, Linux) desirable
• Understanding of clustering, failover, high availability techniques and scalability tactics
• Superior problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written |
