Hello,

I've been assigned to look into an existing flow and have come across something that appears to stem form ESQL code using the PASSTHRU statement. I'm communicating with Oracle 9R2 and the dba's have notified me of an open_cursor exceed issue that appears to come from a large number of updates our existing flow performs during the middle of the month. I've read some posts but haven't seen something that really fits the solution I'm looking for. Has anyone ever experienced a problem with oracle sql clients and database cursors? I have already asked theses guys to increase it to very high number and really don't think that is the solution. Any help would be great.
